Brother’s TD professional desktop label printers allow customers to print high-quality labels, receipts, RFID tags and wristbands on demand, whatever the quantity. Printing labels up to 1000mm wide, with direct thermal and thermal transfer options, fit the requirements of a huge range of market applications.

High-spec desktop label printers pair operational efficiency with continuous high-speed printing and include supporter printer command languages like ZPL II emulation – allowing the customer to integrate into existing legacy systems.

The most common technology in terms of volume would be thermal and thermal transfer – both of which use very similar technology – one with a special coated paper (thermal) and the other one through a ribbon (thermal transfer).

An increasingly common trend is to add colour to labels at point of printing, enabling the user to create exactly the amount of labels required and also to easily change the content or design of the label. The most cost-effective method of printing would be water-based inkjet printing. By utilising simple label design and print software, it is possible to create eye-catching designs in quantities as low as one label.

With built-in network connectivity, the TD-4420DN is designed to be shared.

Labels are printed at a high-resolution, producing sharp and clear images. Making the TD-4420DN ideal for printing 1D barcodes for scanning. Direct thermal print technology produces accurate images, with crisp definition. Utilising heat-sensitive coating, ink is not required. A good choice for printing high-volume, temporary labels with barcodes with a maximum media width up to 118mm/4.65 inches wide

The Brother TD-4520TN Desktop Printer offers both thermal and thermal transfer options with excellent print quality from its 300dpi print head.
